A program offering academic support, mentoring, and career guidance for children and young people, especially those from vulnerable backgrounds. Through tutoring, skills workshops, and one-on-one mentorship, participants gain the knowledge, confidence, and opportunities to build brighter futures.

Youth Voices Forum
An initiative that creates platforms for children and youth to share their perspectives on issues that affect them. Through debates, creative workshops, youth councils, and cultural exchanges, the program empowers young people to speak up, take part in decision-making, and become active contributors to society.

Safe Spaces
A program dedicated to fostering inclusive, respectful, and supportive environments. By collaborating with schools, families, and community organizations, it provides workshops on rights, well-being, diversity, and anti-discrimination, ensuring that every child and young person feels safe, valued, and included.

Our work is rooted in three main causes; ensuring access to education and equal opportunities, empowering youth to raise their voices and shape their future, and protecting their fundamental rights by fostering safe and inclusive communities.

We advocate for every child and young person to have access to quality education, healthcare, and the tools they need to thrive. Through mentoring, learning support, and cultural exchange programs, ZA ensures that opportunities are not limited by background or circumstance.

Children and youth deserve a voice in shaping their own future. We create platforms where they can actively participate, express themselves, and influence decisions that affect their lives; fostering leadership, confidence, and civic engagement.

The promotional event of the newly established association Za Aktiv e.V. was held in the presence of numerous friends and partners. This event marked the beginning of a new chapter and the introduction of a new vision dedicated to children and young people.

What “ZA” Stands For
A short name with a strong voice. The name “ZA”, meaning “voice”, was chosen for its simplicity, strength, and clarity. It represents the voices of children and young people who are too often unheard. It stands for an active, living voice; one that speaks up for rights, equality, and opportunity. Through our work, we want every young person’s voice not only to be heard, but to be taken seriously and to inspire real change.

I am a medical student and a former member of the Respect Our Rights youth group, and I believe that every young voice has the potential to create change. For me, ZA is the place where ideas meet action. A space where we can transform our energy and creativity into real impact. I hope ZA inspires collaboration, innovation, and projects that truly reach people. I believe young people shouldn’t just wait for the future; we should be active shapers of change today.

Guiding Youth Toward Growth
With an MA in Music Education and experience as a lower secondary school teacher, I know how important it is for young people to feel heard and supported. For me, ZA represents a guiding space that offers opportunities for creativity, learning, and personal development. I believe ZA will encourage cooperation, responsibility, and a culture of inclusion, becoming a positive force in our community.
